The Chinese Proficiency Tests, Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi or HSK, are The People's Republic of China's only standardized Chinese tests for non-native speakers.
HSK New version: Since March 2010, the new HSK version has been launched.
Structure - After the completion of HSK.HK level 5 course, test takers should understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts, and recognize implicit meaning, can express their fluently and spontaneously without much obvious searching for expressions, can use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes, can produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, showing controlled use of organizational patterns, connectors and cohesive devices.
